18 October 2025: A great day bowling on artificial turf at the 2025 "Surprise" Open Pairs tournament in Nepean! - 3 teams from Kingston participated! Congratulations to the tournament winners - Curtis Wartman and Phil Pownall!
27th September 2025: We had a fabulous day for the 2025 Rose & Ron Shaw Memorial tournament! 16 pairs teams participated, with players from across the province. The winners are:
1st (3 wins) - Curtis Wartman (Kingston) and Isaac Kerr (Belleville)
2nd (3 wins) - Pierre Vanderhout and Jim Baggs (Kingston)
3rd (2 wins) - Zack Steele and Neil Montgomery (Nepean)
4th (2 wins) - Dean Chamberlin and Rob Rienzo (Nepean)
5th (last game high) - Phil Pownall and Judy Steinke (KLBC)

14th September 2025: Congratulations to KLBC's Pierre Vanderhout and Louise St. John, who captured 1st place in the 28-team LeBlanc/Rossi/Cloke Memorial Mixed Pairs tournament in Oshawa on September 14. Pierre and Louise won all their games, outscoring their opposition by an aggregate score of 62-23. Well done, guys!
30th August 2025: Kingston LBC was a vital part of the 2025 Governor-General's Tournament at Pierrefonds LBC in Quebec this weekend. The Men's Fours team of Curtis Wartman (KLBC), Jim Baggs (KLBC), Phil Pownall (KLBC) and Isaac Kerr (Belleville) defeated their Quebec counterparts, while Scott Bell (KLBC) won the Men's Novice Singles event against his Quebec opponent. Well done, everyone!

27th July 2025: Scott Bell won all 5 of his matches and won the Men's Novice Singles qualifier for the Governor-General's Cup.

Want to try the sport before committing? Please contact us to set up a free trial session, so that you can see what it is all about.
- New members are always welcome. Free instruction is provided by a qualified coach; there is no need to purchase bowls as they can be rented. Wear clothing that is comfortable and shoes or sneakers that are flat soled (no heels). A coach can be available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10:15 a.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. Contact us in advance and we will set you up with someone who will show you the basics of the game.
- Club members bowl on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10:15 am, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm. (earlier starting in mid-August) and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. Throughout the year, we host a number of tournaments open to all Ontario Lawn Bowls Association members. We also have a number of fun days for club members where the emphasis is on "fun". Our season usually runs from mid-May to mid-October (weather permitting).
- Groups are welcomed. Try this out as a team building event or as something new to do with co-workers, a group of friends and/or relatives. Two weeks lead time required for groups of more than 8. We can accommodate groups of up to 24 people.
